About Me
I am a registered nurse for 35 years having had experience with young and old alike. I worked in the Emergency Room for 11 years and landed a lovely job looking after old people in Ireland. It was these two extremes of nursing that made me realize the importance of Fitness and keeping our lives active, motivated and healthy. I became a Fitness instructor after deciding to move to Spain. I knew it would be hard to Nurse over here, as everyone out here are very healthy (due to the climate and the stress free life) and I knew that I had to continue to work with people that could help, socialize with and basically have fun with. The people who joined my aerobics class were the kind of people I needed for myself not only they needing me. I helped them realize the importance of keeping fit, and taught them to see that keeping fit helps you cope with life in a much more positive manner. So here I am today, nearly 4 years later, still teaching aerobics a scary word for some!! but really its an exercise class to maintain full function of our joints, reduce a little fat, and basically energize and stimulate ourselves. We have now entered the Aqua Aerobic period!! Water fitness is the best fun and coolest way to keep fit in Spanish Sunshine!!! |

As you can see from my description, my hobbies are simply that, Fitness!! I just love it and cant spread the word and motivation around enough. I have two small kids 11, 13 who keep me up todate with everything. And keep me active. Well, certainly use me as Taxi Mam. I have them involved in all sorts of recreation, dancing, swimmng, football, skate boarding. You name, I take them there. Thats how important I see it, as this carries on with them the rest of their lives.
